I hate to say it, but in some respects you are ruining me for watching the show. This is what happens when binging on your stories.
I now watch expecting to see the level of detail and interaction of the brothers that you so perfectly write. I am usually disappointed, now, with the series for not delivering that. Don't misunderstand, I still love the show, but you have added a new, welcome, dimension to my understanding of it. Thank you for that.

And I love how Sam wasn't really carefully pay attention to Dean until the later, and Dean wasnt told him about his sickness because he probably wasn't even realised it.

The yell that turned out to guilt and apologize was Great !

I like Guilty Sam (because most fic, people seems like to make Dean the one who felt guilty, and the canon in season 6 or 7, another guilty Dean too. Why? it should be equal!), and unexpected and stubborn lovable idiot Dean.

And I like Nice and Great Sam ! (I like every time Sam take care of Dean, being supportive, and give him gifts)

OK, I do love this story. The fact that they aren't in anything skeezy this time is an added benefit. Nice to see a real hotel and a real apartment, especially a big and flashy one as this.

Good job with the misdirection, and then the solution of what Dean's problem was. Little sick dude, awwwwwww... so VERY cute!

so many more things I liked as well - the simple act of researching, for one. It wasn't all cut and handed out, like so many solutions are. The misstep in forgetting to watch your back. They aren't Superman, and getting hurt (& not immediately healing from it!) also makes a good story (IMHO). Glad to see Sam interacting with a Stanford buddy. Bit of jealous from Dean, or perhaps a bit of wishing that Sam could have that life? Perhaps both at once.

Anyway, Love it.

I really liked the different pace that you used in this story. Yup, mono is real buzz kill. My daughter got it her last semester in college, right in the middle of mid terms, plus preparing to defend her thesis. So nice for Dean to have something normal. That's what took Sam so long to puzzle out. Who would think of normal when talking about Winchers right? Thanks so much for all the time you put into making others happy?

For as well as these two know each other, they sometimes miss the obvious. Which leads to problems as they both misread each other and respond in just the wrong way. It was getting nasty there for a while before Sam finally realized that something was actually /wrong/ with Dean. I liked Arkosy and Hitch... nice to see the angles they brought to the story.

That ending was too cute. This was the perfect kind of case!fic, where they do the job and it's just about them being brothers. I loved it. And sick!Dean is always a plus.

That was a wonderful story. I loved the fact that Sam was so concerned it had to do with Dad for Dean but in the end it was the fact that Dean was sick.

I liked the fact that the hotel guy Gene Arkosy was nice enough to let them have a place to recover.
