This is excellent! I haven't had a chance to read the Silmarillion, but I still highly enjoyed this! You should consider writing more of this kind of thing.

So, I just read your other Silmarillion/Doctor Who crossover today, and loved it. This was, of course, far more immersive and I enjoyed it thoroughly. In a way, this made the second kinslaying even more real to me than the Silmarillion did. The language used was so remote that it didn't register on an emotional level for me, just intellectually. Your story, however, really made me feel the outrage at the betrayal of the sons of Feanor. As with your other tale, you've very effectively captured the tone of both Doctor Who and The Silmarillion and blended them effectively. I'm also so glad the boys lived. Thanks so much for writing this beautiful piece of work.

This 'verse you've made is freaking AMAZING and I have no clue why I never reviewed before. Everyone's in-character, your style is a wonderful blend of both canons, you saved Elured and Elurin perfectly plausibly...

Well, If anyone would know how to take care of these boys, it would be good old Tom Bombadil, and wise Goldberry. So long as they steer clear of Old Man Willow, and his propensity to eat or try to eat, hobbit sized folk.

Oh, my. I am so terribly glad they were able to save the boys. I'm not too familiar with Dr. Who, but I'm assuming Leadworth is River's hometown.
