While watching the episode itself, I wasn't even really paying attention to what was going on, just freaking out over how precious Emo Merlin was. Glad there's fanfiction!

Very nicely done. Not the first but definitely very well balanced, with the perfect amount of animosity, saddness, allusions. I do hope that the crossover where 10 goes and meets Merlin that you mentioned did 32nd up getting written...

I like how it took to the end for me to figure out if the Doctor had just forgotten meeting Merlin before because it was so long ago, or if it hadn't happened for the Doctor yet. And I think it's the latter. But anyway, fun times. Poor Merlin though...
