Although hoped for more then this.. anyway ehm what happend next cause dumbles approves of what molly does are the three stooges (maybe ron too) ruin there romance.

Best anthro-Hedwig I've ever seen. Opening with a bitch slap. That lady knows what's what and ain't afraid to spell it out in pain. Such a funny idea and so brilliantly executed.

This was fantastic! One of my favorite one-shots of HP fanfiction on any site. I've read a handful of stories where Hedwig is something other than an owl for at least part of the story and in most of those, she becomes a phoenix. I've only read a couple of stories where she turns human and this one is my favorite of those. I like stories where Hermione has to be brought to her senses about her feelings for Harry (among other things) and having Hedwig in human form doing it is a fun, unique (to me, anyway) concept.

I also liked that Harry took at least some of the initiative regarding Snape's book by recognizing that Hermione is more important to him. The way you explained Hermione's line of reasoning regarding Malfoy being a death eater and being up to something sinister and then had Hedwig throw that back in her face by listing all the things Harry had had to do at the same age was something someone should have done for her in canon. It's been a while since I've read the books or watched the movies, but I don't remember Hermione even apologizing to Harry for being skeptical that Malfoy was up to something or for being so preoccupied with Snape's book and Ron's mating habits that she could have lost Harry from her life that year.

Cheers to Hegwig and Crookshanks for taking care of their people. This is the sort of corrective Hermione needed in canon, but no one could have given her.

The note with the book is one Harry should have definitely written in canon. But then, canon was rather thin on characters employing introspection. And Ron had no lack of company on the issue of lack of emotional depth.

I'm sure in the end, Harry finds her 'Hobbit forming'!

Oh the horror! Hermione going against the wishes of Bumbleohsomore and the Potion Queen Molly Weasley! Bumbleohsomore will never accept a muggle born marrying Harry! It must be a Pureblood family of the light! Not to, mention one he controls. As for Molly, she's likely seeing all those shiny galleons in Harry's vaults coming into her control. But all those dreams and plans crash and burn if Harry hooks up with Hermione instead of Ginny the Fangirl/Stalker. So I truly want H/Hr to wed. One, it throws both meddling morons plans in the trash and two, it'll make the traitor Ronalds' head explode with jealousy!

I know having to explain a punchline usually ruins a joke, but I completely missed the premise of this story. What did the hobbit have to do with anything?
