That "..Shadow as harmless as a frightened kitten..." XD haha oh I loved that, the whole paragraph it was hilarious! And accurate IMO

I really liked this story! It was fairly short and simple, but the characterization was good, and you couldn't guess everything that was going to happen before it did. I mean, I liked the plot.
The last chapter was by far my favorite, partly because I just enjoy seeing everything going alright for our heroes again after a trying day. I especially enjoyed Shadow's reactions to Tails' 'dying.' I really liked that little scene with Sonic telling the scientists about their adventure, I could just imagine him excitedly rambling on and on, and I really liked how he emphasized Tails' part. That "He was so badass...!" line was oddly sweet with how proud Sonic sounded and was delivered really well!
Mostly, I really liked how this story put Sonic through tough times without going overboard with it. A lot of fanfiction describes prolonged tortures, but you did it in a believable way that didn't go into a lot of detail. I don't know if that really makes any sense. I think I mean I liked that there wasn't a whole lot of violence of sadistic stuff. Not that other fanfictions can't do that, but it was nice to read something that didn't for a change!
Eggman's plan was really, well, cliché, and not really well thought through, regardless. But since when have any of his plans ever been well thought through! I'm just glad he was still able to be a reasonable threat for our heroes.
I also liked the beginning with Sonic going with Tails to the convention, despite not wanting to. Sonic and Tails were really good in this.
Everyone had a role to play in this, except maybe Rouge. After breaking Sonic out, I'm not sure what she was trying to accomplish by hiding. Maybe it was part of a plan that she never got to put into motion? Oh well, it was realistic enough, and besides being a little confused, it didn't actually bother me.
Okay, this review is more than long enough, but one more question. Why isn't it's status labeled as Complete?

One of the best stories ive read in a long time! Very nice! Its hard to find an original story like this with such good content nowadays.

This was a good solid end to the story. Though, I would liked a bit more action regarding the stopping of Eggman. I still say that Tails, whether he is younger than Sonic or not, should have grounded him or unleashed the fury of 7000 righteous suns on him. Overall, I say this story was pretty good, despite some OOC moments mostly on Sonic's part. I look forward to any other stories you have to offer.

It is definitely worth a read! It had me thinking a lot yesterday about how sometimes we take our senses for granted, and what we might do in Sonic's situation. One of the most thought provoking fan fics I've read in a long time! Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for writing this!

I like the action in this chapter, it flowed pretty well here. I wonder what will be the final thing that will get Sonic's hearing back. Poor Tails, all the trouble he went through and he's relegated to tech duty. "Sigh."

The whole "rodent" thing - I know exactly how you feel when you see someone call Sonic a rodent. I knew that he wasn't one because of these two animal encyclopedias I have, but I didn't know the genetic specifics. That's pretty awesome. :D

And I'm glad that someone else shares the knowledge that Sonic knows a hell of a lot more than people think. XD

Great cliffhanger! Nice to see that I'm not the only one fond of torturing poor readers with these X)
