I love this story, but I hate how Damon is the villain here

Just finished this story for like the 50th time. It never gets old and if the characters weren't already copyrighted I'd encourage you to get this published! Again such a wonderful story and just wanted to say how talented a writer you are and what joy this story brings! Thank you️

I've read this story about 4 times already, this is going to be the fifth time after three years of wondering around the net. No matter how much time has passed your story always comes to mind when I need something good to read. I hope you keep on writing stories as good as this one.

so I thought why not come back and read your story again (for the 100th time)

Well written! I really enjoyed the book.

I’ve read this story multiple times (it’s my favorite fanfiction ever) and I just noticed for the first time that you had the Gilbert oarents be dead in earlier chapters (mentioning that at the will reading Elena got everything and Katherine therefore knew where she stood with the family) and now they’re alive in later chapters. No big deal, doesn’t change my enjoyment of the story whatsoever. I just can believe I didn’t spot it until now. Can’t wait to read the story again. I bet I won’t even notice next time.

Wow what a great story! I mentioned in another comment that I was a damon fan and hoped he was still good, but I'm not even mad he was so horrible throughout the story because the story was not about him. I swear I could picture Caroline and Klaus saying some of the stuff you wrote, such a great characterization. Definitely favoriting this!

I am a Damon fan, but I loved how you write his history with Caroline in this fic. I do hope he doesn’t end up being bad, specially with how Esther described him (or how he’s described by the mikaelson, but there’s also the undeniable fact that they are biased narrators). Great fic so far!

Definitely one of the best, most realistic human AUs I've read! Great job.
