Oh my, this was an interesting read for 2020 but I see you have put this fic down years ago. I wanted my fill of Final Fantasy VII again because Im under quarantine and wanted to see what fan fictions have been added since the 10 or so years since I stopped reading, and because the remake was released and I want more story.

With that said, its too bad that the story is unfinished but I can understand why.
Ill have to put out some constructive criticism if you ever decide to write again.

This was a very long read and it feels like it hasnt even gotten to the midpoint of any issue being resolved. What I mean is there is such things as a story having TOO much build.
I feel there are too many plot points within the story that keep getting added, they all get touched on but nothing has gotten resolved and could be made into their own separate stories on their own.

For example you have
The Sephiroth/Cloud romance
The Angeal/Zack romance
The Genesis/Sephiroth romance
Genesis possibly liking cloud
Reno liking cloud
Zack and the flower girl
Zack trying to become friends with Cloud
Sephiroth engaged with that ambassador.

And the other plot points
The condor situation
The hints of Jenova and the future effecting this time line of whats to come
Clouds midterm exam
What will happen when Cloud gets injected with Mako
Hojo
The purple eyed stranger
Sephiroth being able to be turned into a woman
Sephiroth having a drug addiction .
Clouds past and why he has Mako abilities
Clouds father and mother story
Sephiroth being Raven and cloud not knowing..
Sephiroth having suicidal tendencies.

And I am sure there were more that I couldnt think of off the top of my head right now.

Also there were a bit too many original characters, I found myself skipping through 75 percent of their part of the story. While it would be ok if this was your original work, people come to this fandom to see more about the characters they are familiar with. Its great to have your own OC but they really dont need numerous story ars/segments, it distracts a lot from the story and makes it seem like it drags on.

Dont get me wrong your story was great, one the better written fics that kept everyone in personality. Buttt those were just some things I wanted to mention about for further improvement should you decide to continue.

I know it has been nearly seven years, and there's next to no chance you'll come back to this story, but I do hope that one day this will be updated.

With the Remake of FFVII, maybe it'll inspire you enough to return?
