Wow, I'm really shocked. Generally when I see fanfics for either House or Criminal Minds, I don't expect much. No one (and I know I wouldn't be able to, either) has ever been able to capture anyone's personality and identifying quirks well enough to suit my interests.

Until now, that is.

I have to say, you did amazing on this. Reid was totally IC, and House was absolutely spot-on! I was genuinely (and pleasantly) surprised to see how well you did the dialogue, particularly House's end of it. His little quips were perfect!

You are the first on here I have ever seen that can capture the characters in either House or Criminal Minds, and for that, I commend you. :D

Lucas is the unsub? Really? Sorry, I guess I'm just biased since I liked seeing Lucas on House. At least his first couple of appearances. Still, great story though.

This was really good- well done! :) You really captured House perfectly. Reid too, but House was perfect. His harsh deflections and stubborn "I couldn't case less" manner, hiding well the reluctant worry and pain. great job. I'm impressed. :)

I'd be totally open to reading more of this, if inspiration happens to strike. Just sayin. :) Like, I'd love to see Rachel reunited with House after she's found, because even if she doesn't stay with him, she DOES know him, and he cares about her, and it'd be great to see that scene.

What'll happen to Rachel when they find her? Foster system? Seems sucky for a kid who's already been adopted once. Or would house swallow his pride and image and take her? THAT would be interesting to see! He'd make a good dad, despite initial appearances.

This is incredibly well thought out. I liked the way Reid winded down to the main point; I think he handled House beautifully. And House's ending line? "You brought me here because I could empathize. With her killer. Good call, kid."
