Reviews for Though the Truth May Vary
Selena92 chapter 1 . 1/25/2019
That was amazing!

Poor Doctor *cry*
Anna chapter 1 . 3/28/2017
Okay, too amazing for words. How did you do that?
Ovlet chapter 1 . 12/25/2016
Oh my... this is sad and beautiful at the same time. There's too much feeling for me to express...
BooksAreMedicine chapter 1 . 9/2/2015
Whoa, this was amazing. I am glad Rory convinced the Doctor to keep fighting. It's a part of the series that is always just ghosted by and never fully developed how the Doctor suffers and his hard past with his people. He does have a lot to recover from and rarely ever lets it enter his mind, but when it does he needs a Donna or Rory to help him.
Hog Draconis chapter 1 . 6/21/2014
I rather like Rory actually, and I was amazed at all the beautifully written details through this.
And the fact that you wrote it out of Rory's POV just added to my soon-to-be-rambling.
...if you understood what I meant about that.

I mean, sure there's stories written out of Rory's POV, but most of the 'Doctor Who' fiction I read, is written out of the Doctor's POV.
Not that I've got anything AGAINST that, it's just refreshing to read something written from another's point of view.

If anything, the details in this story was just amazing and beautiful and simply fantastic!
You criticize yourself too much, I mean, this is amazing!
Simply amazing!

I also liked how you didn't just make the screams in his head go away, and just 'contained' them.
After all, who would Eleven be without a few problems and a good amount of madness, eh?

Bit angsty. (probably more than a bit...)
Me like. *Grins*
Oh well.

NorthernMage chapter 1 . 6/19/2014
Well, the Doctor will always have his demons. That's basically who he is, a man who can never be without demons, not living as long as he has.

As long as he doesn't fall to them, and stays above them, keeps himself together, he can still be the Doctor we know, who saves people.

Personally, I think that his attitude after losing Amy and Rory (dark and sad) is how he acts when he doesn't have his companions so he can't think about those demons.

Loved this!
Ailavyn Siniyash chapter 1 . 11/27/2013
Oh, your Rory is so very lovely, and so very Rory... Gah
Inastiel chapter 1 . 5/12/2013
This...this was beautiful.
smelltheroses192 chapter 1 . 4/30/2013
Beautiful. Just Beautiful.
Edgeless chapter 1 . 12/28/2012
Though you probably already know, I love this. Realistically (if you could ever consider any fraction of Doctor Who to have a consistent 'reality') this is always how I picture Rory and 11's dynamic to work; a sort of concerned mutual fondness. The format is great, the writing is great, the thought process is logical and just flawless. Great job again!
Val-Creative chapter 1 . 12/26/2012
I really settled down into this story and it completely had my attention with Rory's thoughts and with the details and Doctor's delirium-world/memories/other. It had a way of yanking me right in, and it was gorgeous.
MojaveJ chapter 1 . 11/25/2012
So beautifully written - poetic, the imagery was absolutely painted for me. Thanks for writing.
Pinfeathers chapter 1 . 11/25/2012
This is dark and sad in just the right places and the imagery is soft and lovely and makes me want to snuggle up in the Doctors deuvet and his and Rory's understanding.
Laughy-Taffy the Grape chapter 1 . 10/6/2012
Well, that's kind of what DW's all about, eh? Fighting even when you're damaged. Standing up on twisted ankles.
Guest chapter 1 . 10/6/2012
Great story! I really like this.
