Duuuude! I loved this story and still do, even though I read it like 3 years ago. It stayed with me. I recently watched the babadook and the way he's drawn in the pop-up book is almost exactly how I imagined the spirit haunting Kyle! The facial expression and everything. Except it was of course scarier imagining it first hand, since it was more realistic, and the babadook is a drawing. Still, it immediately reminded me of this story. That ending had me choked up. Just... so beautiful, and nostalgic.
This is the best Au fanfic I have ever read. I was actually hesitant to start reading this because it was an AU, but the moment I started reading I just got sucked it and then here I am at the end of this amazing fic, choked up and feeling sentimental.
And I have to say, that moment with Stan's note saying 'Darling, I love you' has to be by far the sweetest thing I have ever read ever. And I'm not exaggerating, I felt my heart ache for Stan and Kyle at moments like that.
So all in all, I love this fic, and I especially love the way you make your fan fictions so vivid and emotional. You've done an amazing job. :D

This was beautiful! This is the first South Park fic I've read and I don't even watch the show anymore, so it was almost more like original fiction than a fanfic. A recommendation on tumblr led me here, and I am so glad I took the chance to read this. You have amazing talent!

I feel as if this is perfect, not unlike every other story of yours I have read. It's like - you make these two, Stan and Kyle, as if they are pieces of a whole. You can't have yin without yang: you can't have Stan without Kyle. I actually felt one would die without the other in this. You make their love seem so perfect and beautiful and so, so innocent, and it absolutely devastates me. The tender, loving moments they have just breaks my heart; same goes when they have their moments of tragedy. The relationships between Style you create are phenomenal and deliver justice and more to the fandom. I feel like you're not only one of the best Style and South Park writers out there, but just a stupendous author overall.

ONTO THE STORY ITSELF!

Loved the AU. Especially how much it impacts the story. In modern setting SP Style stories, Stan and Kyle get together and it's a while before they out themselves to the public. In this story, they can't out themselves because of the time period it takes place in, I assume. One of the many things that gets my emotions worked up.
Stan's pronunciation of words was also really freaking adorable :D When I thought about how Kyle speaks much more properly in comparison to Stan, it just somehow made the relationship between them even more perfect. ...And there I go again with Style xD
The nightmares and paranormal experiences Kyle went through did freak me out, I admit :P I was constantly checking my room to see if I'd find some arm-less creature standing at the edge of my bed. I'd even run to get to the other side of the room because I was too afraid of the extremely unlikely chance that he'd snatch my foot if I wasn't quick enough XD Extremely unlikely as in him existing, because I fail at running o3o
LOVED THIS STORY, OMG, LATE, SUCKY REVIEW, I'M SORRY, BUT REALLY. THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL. I JUST ABOUT WANT TO CRY.

Oh my word this ending was as cute as pie and so very fitting for the story. After all that worrying over not being able to be together and getting caught... I'm still really sad for Craig though, the poor kid never even got to tell Clyde how he felt! But really, this was a truly lovely and at times terrifying story. When I reached the end of this last chapter, the comment box looming ominously as I continued to read, I just wished that I could forget the whole thing so that I could pour over it again. But really, I know I always say this but your characterizations are so spot on it's scary, and the way you describe things is effortlessly beautiful. Plus, my boyfriend calls me darling and that whole thing just made me gush with warm fuzzies.

You're the best, and as always, I applaud you and your incredibly worthwhile efforts!

Ohhh! It's so ominous! And SAD! STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! AND KYYYYYYYYYYYYYLE! Their first time was just so lovely i thought I'd cry! And this chapter was really creepy as well, I mean, if Ike is scared shitless then damn... shits about to go down!

But my word this chapter was breath taking! I know I've said this in my other reviews on your other works but I seriously LOVE your writing style. It's like a breath of fresh air and you're quickly becoming my favorite author. Well, you're definitely my favorite South Park author, your characterization is flawless and pure gold, but just in general, like published authors included. You're seriously gifted. Go out and get paid for your work already! You're simply awe inspiring with your words.
