I read this story a while ago but I'm rereading it now and I wanted to say how great it is! I think your writing and your ideas are really well put together (in general, too, for all of your stories), and I love the ending to this chapter so much.

Uggghh there was way more angst then I expected and the ending is abrupt at best since really an epilogue is meant to be a peek into what the result was not into the climax of the story. But other than that I enjoyed reading this just would have preferred a bit more of a conclusive ending. Still really good tough and a great read.

I love that Merlin really believes in Mordred that he can be trusted and loved in this story. I both love and am frustrated by the way you ended chapter 16, but upon reading it the second time I have decided it is a brilliant ending. This story has become a favorite. I am writing this review on chapter 15, because will not allow you to edit or add to any reviews already posted. A policy with which I disagree. To end on a more positive note- a superbly written story!

Terrific ending that begs for more!

That is one of the stories which I was reading... unputdownably (I hope such a word exists). I worried a lot about Mordred and Merlin's relationships and so happy that they became a couple (at least in this story). The ending is just wow! Hope that 1) Arthur didn't have a heart attack))) 2) set in stone turned to NOT set in stone

I just found this, and wow. You have a grasp of the way to write emotions and argments that is truly impressive, and I really enjoyed this. Nice ship, its nice to find things that aren't merthur, which I dislike.

This story has been beyond incredible. Beautiful work, amazing in so many ways. I have rarely loved a fic as much as I do this one (it's on my list of favorites now with Student Prince and Pianos Are Made For Falling, among others), and I would like to say thank you very much for writing it.

i first read this a couple months ago on ao3, and since then i've already reread it and am tempted to do so again. holy SHIT do i love this fic! i love how difficult it is for merlin to trust mordred and the added complexity with mordred's powers and discussion of what emrys is to mordred. this fic is probably what made me end up shipping merdred so hard.

I agree with NaruShika. I cannot stand that cliff hanger omfg I'm crying this is real pain, right here.
