This was a very delightful story. I loved all the details of the rodeo circuit and very happy for Bella. I shed a few tears when the gang all rallied around her after the horrible Jake ordeal. She & Edward are definitely the rodeo King and Queen.

Fabulous story! You brought me to tears a few times with your hard luck Bella, but you redeemed yourself with the ending. Loved it!

Esme was wonderful when she spoke to Bella about how she felt about Edward's feelings. Turns out, Edward had some very deep feelings for Bella. He was being a gentleman and not acting upon them, so as not to start any unnecessary rumors. I liked that she attacked him in his trailer. I loved that he realized what was going on in her head and stopped her from that line of thinking by telling her he was falling in love with her. Her telling him she already loved him was fantastic. The whole part about Jake was something else. He really did do a number on her. People who don't take responsibility for their own actions bringing their own life down make me cranky. Jake did all of what happened to him to himself. Bringing her name down in the mud, to make the circuit hate her, was awful. What he did to Rocket, was horrific. I am so glad that she didn't get more injured and have to be taken away in an ambulance or, none of what happened would've come to light. Her walking over to Rocket, once she got back up on her feet again, was how she noticed something was very wrong with him. Him walking to her and putting his head on her was perfect. He knew she didn't do this to him and he knew she was okay. I'm quite sure Seth and Edward would've handled the whole thing with Bella in getting Jake arrested, and more, from what he had done but, it sure didn't hurt that Esme was there and furious. Then she got Carlisle on the phone because she was extra pissed off. Good. Finding the evidence onnhis person was the proof they needed. Speaking of Seth, what a great character he was. Coming in at a poignant moment and having all the back up stories to nail Jake and to fill Edward, and us readers, in on what exactly happened with Jake and Bella. I really hope that Seth finds a home on either the Cullen, Whitlock or Masen ranches. Since he's in the same business, he may as well be around as another friend for Bella. So many people she could've called and never realized that they all would've helped her. She's once again found a great home with this extended family. I absolutely loved the proposal! Having Trey kneel was everything. What an amazing trick he taught that horse. I loved his words. Loved her acceptance. His story was so very good. Her truck and trailer make so much more sense now. The truck belonged to her and her father and the trailer was something he was so very proud of her winning. I really liked being in her head. It explained so very much of what had happened to her. Jake was a piece of work. It was so hard to read the way he treated her, when their fathers used to be so very close. Seems he's got to be cruel all because she turned him down. I loved that Edward got there early and saw what was happening. Bringing his Trey to her to shoe. That was great when he put the obnoxious man in his place for being a dick. I was overjoyed when the calvary came rolling in, in the form of Esme and Carlisle, and what their presence represented. Having their personal horses serviced by Bella and how that just pissed of Jake something fierce. Esme insisting that Bella bunk with her so she wouldn't be lonely on her leg of the circuit, was fantastic. I love how Esme took charge. How Carlisle said she should have come to them while hugging her. My heart swelled at their love. Edward did such a great thing by calling Alice and she in turn called her mom. Bella needs them. His nervousness at asking her out, was too damn cute. His little whoop when she got away from him, even cuter. Her being so excited to be all dressed up and made up, was so sweet. Their date was perfect too. I loved that Edward demanded another waiter because of how awful the first one was. He was right, the guy made Bella uncomfortable. The way he finagled her to be his girlfriend was spectacular. That was so effing cute. I love that she said yes. You made me crave pineapple. And then, you made me crave pineapple kisses. That was really a great first kiss. I'm looking forward to how you wrap this one up.

I'm kind of confused. How are all four of them competing on basically the same circuit and they've not seen Bella at all? If she is at as many as possible, since she does it all year long, how has Jasper and Edward . . . least of all Alice . . . not run into her at these same shows? That makes no sense. I think Edward was an absolute prick when he first showed up. Again when he thought he was apologizing to her, when it was far from sincere. His come to Jesus moment on Fury, was what made him realize he's been a giant failure with his mom and the property. Then Jasper yelling at him, along with Alice separately, combined with Stanley and her saving his ass, made him realize how awful he's been to her. I do like that he's attempted to make nice with her there at the end of the chapter. Buying her food and asking her to eat in his trailer to warm up. She had a very good point though. She didn't need to look like a buckle bunny leaving his trailer late at night.

I really enjoyed this being in Jasper's point of view. Bella's life and what she's gone through just to live it is both heart wrenching and almost awe inspiring. The strength she has is amazing. Stubborn as hell, and that's not always a good thing. I'm glad they got her to stay the four days with them. I sincerely hope that she does come to end up living there. If anything, for Alice and herself to be close again.

Really loving this, your writing is practically flawless. I'm from Ft. Worth, so this chapter was really good for me, and Texas de Brazil is just about my favorite place to eat. There is one in downtown Ft. Worth.
There is currently construction going on to build a new arena. Not sure what will happen to old one - they better not tear it down.
