wow! What an interesting story! I kid you not, I was reading this during class, and I started tearing up during a psychology lecture! I'm not quite sure what to call the tone that you captured here, but whatever it is, it is really beautiful. There's a certain amount of bittersweet sorrow and tragedy. I love it, and totally agree with the anon who suggested to do a similar story from Mordred's perspective! This was great and it made me want more girl!merlin/mordred eeek
