As a complete aside, I have absolutely no idea why there are so few Marple fanfics. I love her to bits.

I can see where you've made a concerted effort to mimic the style of the original books, and I really appreciate that sort of care.

Unusual longevity indeed- Robert Peel died in 1850!- but it does account for the fact that she's so damn old in Murder at the Vicarage, and is somehow still alive when Griselda's baby is a grown man! (That has always annoyed me. I am a massive pedant. I like that you've written a nice workaround for it.)

The connection with Cassandra is very interesting and nicely placed. Although evidently Apollo has softened his stance over the years, because people do listen to Miss Marple/Cassandra these days.

Anyway, an entertaining read. Well done :)
