Okay. So what I love/hate about this story is that Travis obviously cares enough to let his heart break over something he clearly made up his mind about. To clarify that badly written sentence, Travis spent a lot of time thinking about it and came to the conclusion that Katie wouldn't care if he died. Then he asked her, but when she responded "yes I would", his conclusion led him to believe otherwise. In a nutshell, Travis is breaking his own heart over a delusion. And he's too blind to see the truth. he's trapped in a hallucination. And there I go, writing a fanfic about a fanfic. I should stop. This is a heartbreaking, beautiful story. I like the part where everyone yells at each other at the campfire, that part was funny. But the rest of it...ugh, tearjerker. Except I'm too tired to cry. Oh well. There would be more than 3 tears over this, it's just that at this moment I am made of emotional steel. Otherwise, my tablet would be waterlogged.
