Wow! you have totally blindsided me with those last two paragraphs.
I just started reading this story (I thought I should check out more of your works after reading and loving "turbotastic" a while ago) and was recaptivated with the way you can capture a character so fully and tell the story from it's POV.
The first chapter was really intriguing; the concept of whether or not you can change your own pre-programmed properties and behavior. I was a bit disappointed you didn't continue in that direction (the third chapter was good but I was a bit more curious about your take on the first part).

I will be glad to stick around to see where you go with this story (here's hoping you haven't abandoned it).

keep taffyta with her usual 'I'm better than you' attitude, & also that you make turbo Be NOT totally evil as most fics seem to do.

Fabulous chapter! Beautifully written with a lot of action that you make easy to follow. This story started out on the average side but this chapter really makes this story worth reading! You actually make Taffyta likeable despite her selfish personality and her low-end villain status.

honestly I think taffyta is kinda right I mean the racers should be put on the roster for skill not just randomly

Wow. This is a really fantastic fic. I LOVE what you're doing with Taffyta—such an unsympathetic character in the film, and yet you've taken her and given her life and personality beyond her mean girl bullying. I really feel for her. Also I'm partial to the idea that she was King Candy's favorite, and you've done a nice job building the history of that relationship. It broke my heart a little bit in the first chapter where she was thinking about that everything he said was a lie, but she hoped that when he said she was his favorite, that THAT was true.

Cool idea that the racers can take control away from the player, even when they're the selected avatar. I really liked that. Your candy curse words are great.

And what a cliffhanger! Oy! I'm dying to know what happens next—loved Taffyta's sobbing and King Candy-Cybug holding out a sucker to her and smiling delightedly. Actually I'm kind of getting warm fuzzies from that now, haha.

Anyway, this is one of, if not the, best Wreck-It Ralph fics I've read. I really hope to see more of this at some point!

I admit, I only just got into the Wreck-it-Ralph fandom, but I'm very curious about this one! It's always interesting to see a secondary character get picked for narration, and I can definitely see why Taffyta would be having issues getting used to President Vanellope. And I'm very, very curious about how a) Taffyta managed to shake off the player, and b) How on earth King Candy survived the volcano! Please update this when you have the chance!

(Also, I'm sorry someone used a different story to make a plea for this one-no matter how much you like a story, that's no excuse to use a different story's review. That's awful that you had to put up with someone doing that.)

And this is the best fanficton I've read in months. Taffyta really comes alive, and her motivations couldn't be clearer, or more justified. Even Vanellope claiming Taffyta cheated sounds preposterous, considering she was also running without a player. Really, Vanellope's glitching is cool from her viewpoint, but you really show how it might alienate some people.
