I often wondered about Minerva and Bagman dancing during GoF and this idea is just brilliant. Such an excellent story and I enjoyed all of your characterizations. Minerva's cynicism and strength are perfect. The subtlety of Albus and Minerva's unusual connection is so complex and heartwarming. I know this is probably a definite one-shot, but I would love to see more for this vein. You have such a way with words. Thank you for this piece! :)

I'm quite disappointed, as I regard this story to be good as it follows the original storyline of , concering Minerva's past, but you wrote something in the very first paragraph which was quite shocking to me:
"but when they began pairing young men to men, young women to women"
It saddens me to read that people still think of same-sex-contact as being something that might result in a bad reputation, as you hinted.

This was brilliant! I am not too fond of AD/MM, not because I don't like the two of them together, but because fanfictions about them are always kind of cheesy. This one, however wasn't. It wasn't even romance, but a simple kind of accepting love and that is exactly what I imagine when thinking about those two. )
