I love poking around in smaller fandoms because then I find gems like this and my heart starts racing, which was precisely what my heart was doing throughout the course of this fic. I have not seen the movie that this fan fic was inspired by, but I get the impression that you took the scene, and made it your own. I always felt that Loonatics Unleashed was more like a "template"—something that never reached the potential it has, and fortunately there are fics like this out there to remedy the situation. Bonus points that this story centres around Rev, my favourite character from the show.

This fic was pure indulgence and I loved every minute of it. Although there were some parts where I feel the plot could've been condescended, you managed to shed a lot of light on Rev. One moment I really, really liked was when Duck displayed a moment of compassion—which tells me that you understand that he really does have a heart, rather than blindly portraying him as a jerk. I love your understanding of the secondary characters (the other Loonatics), and how their supporting roles were just as important as Rev's.

I really loved how you balanced out moments of terror with more quiet, subdued moments. For example, the action scene with the burning building—then being pulled from the wreckage. It really packed a punch. You really know how to "show not tell," resulting in a lot of moments where I felt like my heart was being extracted from my chest before being sown back in.

Although some parts were too drawn out, and although there are some grammar errors in the fic, these mistakes don't take away from the meaning of the story. One thing I have to criticize though is that I don't think it's necessary to join together dialogue of fast speaking characters with hyphens. Anyone who cares already knows they talk fast, and it just makes it difficult to read.

This fic doesn't deserve just two reviews. It deserves a thousand. Writing for smaller fandoms is a double edged sword—trust me, I know—but the fact that you took the time to write such a detailed story is mind blowing, and I, for one, admire and respect you for undertaking such a task. Hats off to you!

In short: wonderful work, and I'm certainly going to be checking out your profile to see what else you've written.

I was seriously very, very impressed with this. First is the fact that you have my favorite Loon, Rev Runner. Second is the fact that you striked at the heart of the matter, you wrote what honestly mattered and did not stray from that, you gave it a very realstic view and everyone is true to who they are. I love Rev, despise his large amount of talking he is honestly a very great animal to read, write or watch about. Wish they gave more views on him.

I'm seriously really impressed by the detail you put in here and despise it being a bit hard to read it very, very much made my day.

Yeah, i should technically be working on homework too, but i think, recreationally, this was a much better use of my time. Thank you for gracing with this story, it will be loved by me forever.
