I really enjoyed reading this story.

Superb story. I read it in two days. I wish I'd seen in it sooner this is a gem truly it is.

First off I like how you tried to assimilate what happened in between Season 1 and 2. And put in little easter eggs in between for the storyline. On things that have yet to be explained in the cannon so far. I also love the fact that this story centers around Batman Universe and you put together three different storylines to create this one fic. You even brought in Selina Kyle my positively favorite Batman love interest and all around anti-hero. Seriously wish they'd introduce her in Young Justice already. Her and Lois are so sorely missed. I think you wrote her quite well. I love the connection she has to Dick.

I think one of my favorite qualities to this fic is the Batgirl origins. It felt natural unforced and I could see Dick doing this. Especially since Barbara and Dick are so close of course he'd rely on her help. I'm not surprised she already guessed he was Robin but the confirmation in that was well played. I really like your portrayal of Barbara and Dick's friendship as well. There is definitely that potential from the comics and this fic of them being more in the future. Anywho seeing them team up to take down Bane's goons and various situations were great. Thank you for giving Barbara and decent amount of spotlight and consideration it never felt like she was being pushed aside which sometimes happens in these fics. You handled her beautifully. BTW Greg the writer/director confirmed that Dick is actually older than Barbara by a year. Nothing to worry about just a pet peeve I have when reading fics often people mistake her for being the eldest because of the comics I think.

The biggest enjoyment I got was how you transitioned Dick Grayson from Robin into Nightwing. I like how you used the practicality needing to adapt to the situation to transform his costume that way it made his change even more significant memorable than him just deciding he wanted a change of alias. Same with Batgirl as well and how you handled her origins and why she got involved. But yeah I just like the unique quality of how you transitioned Dick from being a kid to an adult. It's in the rough and trying times that we grow a lot. Both Dick and Barbara were cut off from society and outside help so it really was a growing time. Especially for Dick with his concern over Bruce and whether he'd survived or not. Also liked the little details where Dick was playing it off to Bane and the others that he and Batgirl were thieves rather than being heroes. They had to be as undercover as possible. This really showed Dick's intuitive side and his adaption to the situation. This really was his fic. I also like how Dick was not comfortable with change in the beginning, it was almost like a theme. He didn't want Wally to leave the team so we saw his rejection of change. But then he was pulled into change by the circumstances of Bane's terrorist act. So this was really fic of growth and well played for all it's worth. The bond between Robin and Kid Flash is something I always love seeing so I really appreciated those moments.

On a side note: I like how you also got the Justice League and The Team involved in the storyline. They couldn't come to Gotham and help on the inside but they did what they could on the outside. We saw all of them face the situation and suffer through their own doubts and worries. That was good to see. Like the little moments you gave to all the of The Team as well it felt natural and fun to see. When they finally got involved seeing their confusion over who Nightwing and Batgirl were was great as well. I mean they knew who Nightwing was sort of but it makes sense it would be weird trying to see him with a new name. This just all was great. Loved the Spitfire moments too and the inbetween characters you got involved in the story. You really tried you hardest to pay attention to the mythos and what makes Young Justice so good. That's why to me this feels like a cannon story line. For now this is how I can see the transition from Robin to Nightwing and Barbara taking up the Batgirl mantle. It was all great.

Gah I just love this story. Also perfect ending. Leaves you hanging but at the same time it tells you there is more to come in the future it felt like the ending to a Justice League or Batman movie. It was satisfying but at the same time says there's more to come in the future. Truly loved this story to bits. Really you did an excellent job with it. Although the YJ game revealed some of the stuff you have here doesn't match with the timeline it still was really beautifully written and done. Seriously perfect fic. I'm going to have to read it again the future I'll treasure these moments being able to read it now. Thank you for satisfying a lot of things I really was hoping to see in the show and in other fanfics. You stay true to what makes Young Justice so great and gave everyone a little moment in the spotlight you didn't ignore any characters. Well done simply wonderfully written!
