I cried. Which is a difficult task in itself so congratulations. This was a fantastic story and i really must insist on a sequel. I beg on my hands and knees.

I feel like this story had the potential to be great, but everyone under reacted to everything, for example shouldn't Dean be shocked and angry that Sam has secretly been having a relationship with his best friend for the past year? Or angry that his father has had another son for 10 years that he and Sam forgot to mention? There was no foreshadowing, Cas' death was completely unexpected and didn't make much sense (could you please change one of the genres to tragedy or maybe give a trigger warning for major character death).
But what I really liked about this story was the dialogue between Dean and Cas!

Pretty sure I've never cried at the end of a fanfic. But then I got to 17 and all I could think was 'Why would you do that to me?! My Feels in a jar!'. I'm really glad you decided to do the alternative ending, babe.

God that was so sad. It was one of the beautiful things I may ever read. I cried, and I hate that it's over but you are an amazing writer. Don't ever stop!
