This was a great look inside Chakwas's head. I think you have her spot-on, her patience and her endurance and her philosophical attempts to live and let live and move on - and then her deep relief when she's given the chance to get back where she belongs.

Great! And I totally agree- Chakwas is underrepresented here. Keep it up!

Omg thank you for this little gem. Not enough people write about Dr. Chakwas or try to give her the same character treatment as they would for more popular folks like Kaidan/Garrus/Liara/etc. I love reading about the lives of minor characters, ESPECIALLY fics where the time setting is between games (the two years between ME1 and ME2, the six months between ME2 and ME3.) There's so much potential, so much juicy material to flesh out and/or imagine into existence.

Anyway, I hope you decide to flesh this out more. I'll definitely watch out for this.
