I'm really enjoying this story and I'm not usually a fan of christmas carol fics so well done for having me hooked from the first chapter.

There is one point which doesn't make much sense to me, which is paying for medical operations?. As a UK resident we have the NHS on which all treatment is free, including Surgeries. So yeah just confused me as to why John was paying medical bills. Sorry. It's just a small britpick. As I said I'm still really enjoying the story. Now to the next chapter YAY!
