It's heartbreaking, really, to see an unspoken bond be forever kept secret... (Also, if you're wondering how I was able to write reviews for each chapter so fast, it's because I realized that somehow I forgot to fave/follow/review this lovely fic, despite reading it not too long ago. I'm guessing I was tired and forgot to bookmark it or something -.-" Obviously, that had to be remedied! I can't even imagine the sheer psychological blow it must be to be forced to revert back into adolescence :'( And yet, poor Helen has no idea... Even though the Pevensies were quite living in a different world for a time, the symbolism of them being different to their mother is still very poignant, considering how much damage WW2 inflicted to all... |
