Pitch would be so upset to know that they lashed out at the kid he was trying to help, but the fact that it prompted Jack to finally take his little friend away entirely to hunt down an alternative to keep her away from them permanently might make him just a touch smug. He'd deal with his upset by ensuring the offenders got even more, ah, "special attention", and for longer. And the smug by rubbing it in the other's faces when (possibly not-so-) little Eira runs up to him to hug his Nightmares and possibly himself in greeting. XD |
