I absolutely adore your stories with Harry/Snape pairing. I like that your Harry and Snape never need a saving, they save themselves but with the help of the love they feel for each other. I love how passionate the feelings are, and how they cry when they feel pain, how they laugh when they are happy- how human they are. Lots of stories elude this element in their story. Humanity. Snape and Harry are both extremely powerful people in magical means but they are bot just warriors, soldiers against the evil, they are also humans who feel, love and hurt. I love how you never erase Snape’s cruel actions in the past, but you show how much he has changed and deserve compassion and love just like any other. I love how sensitive Harry is about his feelings and how he is brave enough to act on them even with such hesitancy looming inside. I just love the love you create between them. True, deep and strong.

A wonderful conclusion to your Christmas three shot! Just right to put one in a Snarry mood (not that I ever left it, LOL) and nicely timed for Christmas.

Harry starts this chapter again, the dear boy… *grins* Well, granted he’s now a man (six years wasted, Harry!) but I’ll always think of him as a teen. I can’t help it, just look at what he did! Woke up early (showing determination), using his rooms instead of the school labs (showing insight) and… botching his first two attempts due to forgetfulness and carelessness! *feels as vexed as Hermione* Good thing he didn’t brew the potion that needed the Chimera blood... and that he has quick reflexes!

LOL that cauldron came in useful after all! Better not tell Sev, Harry, he’ll only give you another one next year! Harry was cute there, so happy over his success that he forgot the side effect and needed Hermione to remind him. Aw, so his Parseltongue ability is truly gone *sighs* but at least he has his gift for Sev. And now I know what us Muggles sound like when we try to imitate him - a leaky balloon!

Hermione’s a real blessing by the way. I love her fierce friendship with Harry and I love her impassioned words to him, drawing on her love for Ron to show clueless ‘we’re just friends’ Harry what he should already know. *sighs* Just like how her love for Ron is true, so is Harry’s for Severus!

… but – but six years, Harry! Six freaking years! *huffs* You’d better be telling him soon or I’m going to shake you within an inch of your Gryffindor life! Schattengestalt is absolutely right in her review – just like how Hermione supported Harry and brought his feelings to light, so did Albus for Severus. I felt so much for Severus in that scene… there’s nothing as heavy as guilt weighing on one’s heart, but of course it’s all unfounded.

Ah, Albus is unparalleled when it comes to forcing Severus to confront his feelings and getting him to take his potions! *grins and ducks to avoid a stinging hex* That recovery sounds rather painful but realistic. And I’m smiling goofily at the point where Albus states the obvious, that Severus is in love with Harry…

Something made all the more obvious when Sev cleaned his quarters AND washeed his hair *giggles* I liked the intimate touch you have at the mind link requiring physical contact… the inner wrist is such as sensitive area and I’m so happy that instead of Sev not having a reason to touch Harry anymore, he’ll have an even better reason by story’s end!

Dear Sev, thinking of his voice in such degenerating terms such as cold and biting, sharp and ruthless when he can so easily replace Harry’s memories of them (not that Harry minds anymore) with more pleasant ones – the words deep, sultry, sensual, sexy and orgasmic come to mind… oh my, yes… *winks at Sev and is jabbed by ebony wand*

Harry’s right – Severus is distracted and no one cares for Christmas tea when there are presents to give! Their gift exchange was nothing short of magical… perfect… and beautifully emotional. As fond as I am of Albus, this is one scene better done in the privacy and comfort of Sev’s quarters.

I willingly admit that while I enjoyed reading of Harry and Hermione’s close friendship and of Albus and Severus’ equally close mentor/friendship, I was sniffling at Harry’s thoughts on the gift he received.

You absolutely nailed Harry’s pureness of heart here! Another person might have chafed at the uselessness of Sev’s gift or wished he hadn’t gotten rid of his own Parseltongue ability in order to render the gift useful… but no, not Harry. Like the story that inspired you, he sees the value in the gift and appreciate Severus’ attempt to make his wish come true… *sniffles*

That was a beautiful first embrace. *squeals* I liked the little touches of course, but somehow, that hug, so impulsive and heartfelt… *feels the urge to rant break over her again* You visited Sev every week for six years and only NOW you hug him, Harry? For six freaking… *is hexed for her nagging which has lasted 3 chapters and should be over and done with already*

Well, I won’t mention that anymore since their love is now real and solid after those many years of friendship and trust.

Oh, that was a really beautiful first kiss… not a casual salutation, but a precious one when both already knew how much the other meant to them. Ah, it was lovely, lovely, lovely! *heaves a satisfied sigh and feels all Christmassy again*

By the way, I Googled and realised I’d read the original story that inspired you many years ago… It touched my heart… but it also left me feeling vexed and wanting to knock that young couple’s heads together! But not dear Sev and Harry’s because both their sacrifices in the end involved something that benefited them both! No losses whatsoever! Even better! (no offense to the original) *applauds*

And as for that sequel, here’s my reply to your question… *clears throat, whips out a megaphone, switches it on, puts it to her lips, sees Sev and Harry hurriedly cast a Silencing Charm and bellows out ‘Yes!’*

I have never read the tale by (I only read a brief summary, when I read that your story was inspired by his tale), but I see in which ways the tale probably inspired you.:)

Harry and Severus struggles to find the perfect Christmas gift for their loved one, was wonderfully written. And I guess, its only to be expected that Severus didnt have any troubles with brewing the two potions, while Harry had.*winks at him*
Nonetheless, it was good for both of them to have the person with them, they trust the most.*nods at Hermione and Dumbledore*
Harry needed Hermione, because he wouldnt have been able to brew the potion otherwise and Severus... well, he needed someone to provoke him, so that he would drink the potion to heal his vocal cords.*gives Dumbledore a thumbs up*

Oh, I loved how insecure Severus was!*sighs happily and is hexed the next moment*
Its so much like him to fear that Harry might reject him, because Severus used to hurt Harry with his words, although their was now rational reason for Severus to fear rejection. After all, Harry wouldnt have spent so much time with him during the last six years, if he didnt like (and later, love) all of Severus.*smiles at them*

Ah, and the end was wonderful.*blinks happy tears away*
There isnt a better way for Severus to reveal that he can speak again than to groan into his first kiss with Harry.*chuckles and smiles at the same time*

And I guess that they will be able to celebrate Christmas, although their gifts are "useless" now.
But they werent useless before that, since they made them reveal their love to each other and brought them together.
