oh god i just realized that Batman was off world when season 2 happened and that means Dick and babs,tim had to control over gotham and since was the most experienced that means he had to be Batman (or still leader) meanwhile balancing over his leadership on young justice also keeping the burden of the secret of the infiltration plan (and at the end...his best friend gone). God I can't imagine all the stress he had. He's really strong for keeping it up. Good thing he went on hiatus on the team, he has to get all the rest (therapy) he needs.

That's such an accurate representation of what season 2 must have been like for Dick. Even though Artemis and Kaldur were the ones undercover, Dick was shouldering most of the burden of actually orchestrating the plan. I haven't really watched season 3 yet, but I wish they would stop would the time skips that keep hiding a lot of the emotions after the fighting. Anyway great one shot, especially with Tim's perspective.

Make a sequel where Tim finds the courage to comfort Dick!

Oh no. I can’t do this. I held it together right until the end but that last paragraph... oh my god. It messes with me that this is probably one of her most realistic things ever - like if YJ wasn’t rated PG or something and most of the characters weren’t unbelievably unemotional and inhuman... this is literally Dick’s reality. My poor baby. :’-(

This was gorgeous and amazing and everyone was perfect and I love Dick and Alfred and I have never loved nor related to Tim this much before and he’s so smart and precious and thank you for writing this and sharing it with us and I needed this lovely terrible heartbreaking angst and I know this is a run-on sentence but I don’t care because mY hEART hURTS and THEN it was salved and then you BROKE IT AGAIN. God after thinking through Dick has a l lot in his plate. Right now these are his actions when Bruce alive and taken away for a trail. Then how about he assumed to be dead! Of course the world crushed around him and he suffered more and more emotionally.

I don’t know how he can manage that pain, workload, responsibilities as the big brother and the elder son of the Bats, team leader, league member, Batman, Wayne and Nightwing’s duties and soooo on.

If I was him I’ll die from depression, stress and I’ll definitely lose my mind and be the grimmest person in the whole universe... You surely my super hero Dick.

Could you write a story where Dick was Robin and hehe was too stubborn to go to sleep like in Connors text so the original team just cuddled with him.

I remember reading this a while back and I forgot the name and I just spent a good ten minutes looking for it and it finally showed up when I googled "fanfiction young justice season 2 dick is stressed out". It's as amazingly heartbreaking as I remembered it being!

This was outstanding. Yhe detail you were able to sneak in this was amazing and just enhanced the story. It was a great read and you nailed each of the characters - this is something I could truly see happening.
