Squeee! So cute, very touching. Everything here fits so well and its nice to see Jack and Tooth building on what they found in the movie. This is a highly underrated story. How does one with so much authenticity and simple awesomeness go with only 151 faves and 22 reviews...? Well... at least I can add one more to those scores.

GAH! Found it! I read this fic before and stupidly forgot to favorite it, and have been spending the past few nights trying to find it again.

This is perfect! Jack's reaction to Jamie's hug was such a touching moment. The shock and relief on his face were so obvious. It struck me in the most painful way that Jack had probably never been hugged, kissed, or touched in any way for 300 years. It's nice to have such a wonderful fic addressing that fact. Jack acted just how I would imagine he would and Tooth was so loving and kind. I love tender fics, and this fit the bill perfectly. *favs this time*

I love, love, looove the way that this wasn't forced like some of the other fics for Jack and Tooth that I've read. I watched ROTG only recently (AFTER WAITING LIKE A YEAR AND A HALF) and I absolutely FELL IN LOVE with Frostbite or Rainbow Snowcone (whatever you'd like to call it). Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of good fics for them and coming across this lovely little oneshot was quite the treat! The way you described Jack's need for contact, friendship, and warmth (to a certain extent) made perfect sense and wasn't overly forced like other writers' explanations for Jack's attraction to Tooth. Basically, I verily enjoyed this, and your writing - you have a gift dear, I'd love to read more!
