I don't know about anyone else, but I have to admit to a certain level of excitement when I see a 'Kate Christie' notification in my inbox. And I have to apologize for this very belated review but it gave me a chance to go back and re-read "Wishes" and "XIII" and just as I suspected... same results. My face hurt from smiling through all the chapters and I'm thoroughly convinced that Christmas and New Year's Eve happened just like this. The only explanation is that the Castle writers must have accidentally used the wrong script on the show. Also I had an urgent craving for Mexican food which caused me to make some regrettable life choices (Taco Bell, your fault!). As I've said this to you before and I will reiterate: There are a number of talented fic writers who consistently deliver well-written stories and you certainly rank up there. Great job and look forward to reading more of your work!

I love the scene where she realizes he is the one that blew the horn, and she is running to him, and they kiss and say "hey" and she lets him see how ecstatic she is with him. So sweet! Thank you!

The moment when she realizes that this is the only man she will ever kiss at midnight, and it didn't scare her, was perfect. I had to read that paragraph and the one following a couple of times because it was just so good.
