Jack never mentioned not remembering anything, probably thinking it was normal. The Guardians don't speak about their past lives either, I kind of doubt it'd come up often. Plus, they would have heard stories about what Jack had done.

A different system? Yeah, that makes sense. I just saw only Guardians needing belief or they'd become weaker. Bunny had issues when losing belief because he was a Guardian, Jack didn't because he was a winter spirit, not just a Guardian.

This is amazing! I hope you write more like this, because I think that it is important that Jack has something different that believes in him or at least cares about him in some sort of way, so thank you so much for writing this fic, and I enjoyed reading it :)

I like this, oh don't get me wrong, I like the fluff stories where they become something like bosom companions as well, but I just love this piece. Jack is strong without having a firm mortal belief system like the others. Can you imagine how strong he'll be after having a mortal belief system?

Also, the North Wind is awesome for how it sticks with Jack no matter what.

I love that you've pointed this out. Because it makes perfect sense and it's so sad, but in a sweet way. I love the way Jack grins when he says, "Wind, take me home!"

I hold out hope that they can be friends in the future. It's clear enough that the Guardians had somewhat lost themselves in routine while forgetting the purpose of what they are doing (too busy for the children!). Perhaps that contributed to Jack's isolation. Perhaps that will change now.

In any case, a totally plausible and lovely piece. I really like it.
