Reviews for And to All a Good Night
GeekLoveFan chapter 1 . 6/10/2018
I have been loving the stories in this ficverse. If I may just make a point, my husband and I agreed before we ever married, as part of our agreement to NEVER lie to our kids (along with religious and other reasons), that we would not do the Santa thing. Our kids have never given the first fat crap. They trust us not to lie to them and they don’t really care where their gifts come from.

Snape5 chapter 1 . 1/6/2013
('Complete/Compleat' typo in the second line.)

I loved this. It is absolutely beautiful. I don't usually read AU but I thought this was breathtakingly fantastic. So few words capturing so much. So much peace after all the war and unhappiness.

Remus and Tonks are two of my favorite characters and I thought it was strangely awful that their marriage of less than a year seemed to be filled with so much grief, unhappiness and death.

This struck a real chord with me. I loved how Andromeda was portrayed, how she had changed over time. It's lovely.

alix33 chapter 1 . 12/28/2012
"A few hours later, on his way to bed, Remus peered into Teddy's room. It was empty. Remus turned around to find Dora grinning at him. "Come and see," she said. "Shh." She led him down the stairs, on tiptoe, and into the living room. There, on the floor in front of the fireplace, was Teddy, sound asleep. "Look at our little Marauder," Dora whispered, sounding proud enough to burst. "Trying to catch Father Christmas out!" "Father Christmas hasn't been yet, I see," Remus murmured, pointing. "Look what your mother's done." Dora saw it, then, and drew a sharp breath. Hanging from the mantelpiece was a single stocking, frayed and faded with age. It hung limply, still empty - But there was a name embroidered, slightly unevenly, across the top. Ted." - AW!
Bad Mum chapter 1 . 12/28/2012
Beautifully sweet without becoming saccharine. Loved it.
By Another Name chapter 1 . 12/28/2012
Snarky64 told me to come right over and read this story, and she was right. It's a lovely snapshot of a family, and of a love that never goes away.
Snarky64 chapter 1 . 12/28/2012
I knew what the name would be, but I still teared up! How lovely. :)
Henny B-F-R chapter 1 . 12/28/2012
This is really cute. The idea of how much Muggle and wizarding traditions overlap has always interested me. It's nice to see a story that addresses something interesting but is still sweet and lighthearted.

I write at a Harry Potter RPG which is currently accepting new first years and would love it if you'd check it out. It's sonoramagic dot net (but written as a web address - fanfic filters those out though).
