The way you're writing Garp is OOC.
Look at things from Garp's perspective, your son pretty much wants to wreck your entire organisation and your grandson can be targeted for that sole reason. You realizes that Luffy can't live a normal life, so he must become a marine. So you train him for that.
Garp doesn't throw Luffy into unnecessary danger, he treats Luffy harshly because he wants him to become stronger.
If you want to make an edgy bash fic, make it accurate at least.

Luffy is crazy. He's so crazy that no matter what torture he goes through, even being in the depth of Impel Down. He'll come out strong. He may cry, but his mind won't break and he won't be sad. He will defy the pain. Luffy is quite literally insane because of that. This is the key part of Luffy's character. You took away that, so this is merely a shallow gender-bender OC wearing his name.

Write in English. Don't write cringey shit like: "jii-chan no baka". Stop that cringey shit.

I'm glad you were able to come back to this story :) I'm quite enjoying the differences that are coming about. Also I like how the story has more mature themes then the original :) I wonder when Sanji will let Ruffy listen to his heart. For example if she hasn't by Drum Kingdom, depending on the changes you make, if Sanji still gets injured she won't be able to feel if he's still alive like the others. It might be hard on her. I know things will probably come out when she does eventually listen though so I'm excited. :) You are doing a fantastic job and I cannot wait for the next chapter or story. I'd be okay with either, however it might be better to break the story up into difference sections. Have a story for Paradise, another for the New World, maybe another if you decide to do the movies. :) Whatever your decision I'm sure it will turn out wonderful. :) Again great job, and I eagerly await the next part.

I didnt realize this hadnt updated in a year. It seems like a couple of months at most I can recall. Goes to show I really love this, I can remember the story so well so far, so keep up the good work! I know you can do it. I hope the situation with your beta gets better and they come back soon.

I knew being in that Whale would be harmful to Ruffy, poor dear. And Laboon's translated wail, it made me almost cry a bit.

And RUffy, don't feel bad you haven't listened to Sanji's heart yet, you can still do that, your not a coward. I mean, your a little unstable, and if Sanji being a cook upsets you, it's no good just setting yourself into a mental breakdown, or whatever.

I love Sanji, always caring, even when Ruffy refused to listen to his heart, I hope she does soon, and what she'd see. ;) Aside from the 'Pink' XD

And Zoro, realizing how being the whale torments Ruffy, and so, Usopp kicks Ruffy unconcious...a good thing, even Sanji didn't entirely disapprove.
