God, that was terrible. In the very best way... I just loved how gradual and realistic it was, and how everything came so naturally. The plot flowed similarly, so it felt like something familiar, but enhanced. It was believable, and your own. Also dreadfully heartbreaking. The Epilogue had me in tears. Great job!

I adore this story. The care and attention given to fully fleshing out the characters is superb. The slow burn is perfect, and it genuinely feels like an epic romance, dealing with love and loss beautifully. I must have spent almost an hour in tears or holding them back. That's a level of emotional investment I wish more writing could engender. Thank you very much for writing and sharing this.

Well I'm sorry but you have to write a sequel for this story... mainly because you set it up for one. Amazing story all around. I cried ugly tears multiple times with this last chapter and by the end my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. You are a very talented author and amazing writer.

This has to be one of the best things I've ever read in my entire life. The writing is so well done and I've never read anything that can so easily bring me to tears. I've been reading this story for the past 4 hours and I've been crying for at least an hour of that from the emotions in this last chapter. I cannot remember the last story that could make me cry, but this just hits my heart and I'm just in awe of how you've managed to perfectly capture the grief Bilbo feels and put it into words. This was an absolutely amazing story to read!

i needed to read a lot of fluffy happiness to get over this fic! Why did they have to die? you made the story so much more heartbreaking by making them fall in love then killing them anyway! i cried! i will say this was well written and engaging. but very, very sad.

This story was absolutely amazing and heartbreaking at the same time! I was not prepared, you write all the characters so well and especially Bilbo during the last two chapters! I couldn’t help but to be very moved by your writing and will definitely count this FanFiction as one of the best I have ever read!

This was so good! I cried so hard when Thorin, Fili, and Kili died. I really thought that they were going to live so that was a shock. Though I love the happy ending!
