| Carcy chapter 1 . 1/13/2013 Lol this was lovely and adorable! Everyone seems very in-character, I can definitely imagine Fili and Kili coming up with something like this. And these lines are very reminiscent of the movie: "We didn't mean anything by it", Fíli added. "You never mean anything by it", Thorin growled. Bilbo and Thorin's exchange was hilarious! And the ending was sweet, shows that those two, despite their mischievous ways, are basically good at heart and not completely little shits lol. Thanks for writing! |
| user124 chapter 1 . 1/12/2013 Ermahgerd. This is now my favourite. You had me from "Mr. Boggins" I love love love how you kept that! Ehehe...Mr. Boggins is a classic, or should be. And then you've got Bofur being ridiculously lovely! *giggles* I actually kind of groaned in dispair when they told him to burgle Thorin. Thought for sure dear Bilbo would be murdered for so much as looking at The King Under the Mountain. *Shudder* The whole thing was just fantastic, though. Seriously, epically fantastic. _ |

| Feathered Filly chapter 1 . 1/5/2013 Oh this was an absolute amazing and brilliant piece! I still can't believe how well you write the voices of these characters so completely and utterly perfect. I swear, every time I read something you wrote it's so easy to envision the entire thing playing out in my mind like a movie. You even capture the way Kili says "Boggins" instead of "Baggins'! Brilliant! Which of course he keeps saying even when Bilbo corrects him, because of course he's only doing it to irritate him. The brothers definitely have a way with words, so that it doesn't really sound like they are trying to play a joke or prank, but that it would genuinely be helpful for all them if Bilbo were to go around stealing stuff from the company. I read this entire story with a smile stuck on my face because it just kept me happy and laughing. Everytime Bilbo got caught Kili and Fili would hide behind a bush and let Bilbo take the full brunt of it. Until Thorin finally caught them and made them go watch the ponies. Oh alcohol, you feel like you are invincible and can do anything on that happy juice lol! SO between that and the two mischievous brothers smiling and encouraging him, he didn't stand a chance! |
