This was delightful! I really enjoyed all the period detail and language, as well as the pre-canon exploration of human Jasper. You did an excellent job with the foreshadowing of his gift, with his practicality and manners, not to mention the sad component of how he is already weary of war. Sadly, his military career is just beginning. I think you Picked the perfect spot to end it, too.

This was very good, I really liked it because I always wanted to know more about Jasper's human life and this story seems perfect :D

OMG! I freaking love this story! I like the part about how he's grieving HIS men as he said and the child who died from fever or whatever... I like how he's a gentleman and wouldn't see a woman in her bed but had to put aside all social rules and stuff... There's actually not much that I DONT like about this story! ((thnx for mentioning me... Made me feel really special!:):) keep up the work and update ASAP!:):):):)*-*
