This the first NCIS story i ever read that wasn't a crossover and its now my favorite! I've read a lot of them and this is still the best! Thank you for writing!

I love your stories so very much. I have read all of the ones you have posted more than once. I haven't reviewed anything in a long time but after reading this story for a fourth time and having re-read three others in the last two days I decided to break my silence. What I love most about your stories is the bond they all have. I have always seen them all as family and yeah sometimes they have problems with each other but any family does. I just always love how they band together in the end. I know many people might not agree with me, as most people lean more toward Tony, but I prefer Tim myself. it just seems that sometimes he is pushed to the side on the show, the low man on the totem pole. so it's always good to read stories where he is getting some attention. I have gotten rambly. (Not a word but I like it) Anyway, thanks for the great story.

Hah! I won the bet with myself of what the treatment would be. I saw an episode about it once and was fascinated and disgusted at the same time. Intellectually, I understand how good they can be for certain wounds but emotionally... I can't help be cringe and be grossed out.

I found the whole story well told, with a few grammatical errors might have given my old English teacher a headache. Glad to see the alterations to the original story; be even better if a guilty ridden Abbey had checked her old findings and seen McGee DNA in the stuff from the dogs' mouth.
In the UK we are about two and a half seasons behind the US and it's probably a long time since the dog tag one was shown, but it appalled me at the time. Writers I feel, have a duty to the way their characters reflect and maybe improve our world.
Of course it is fiction and McGee wouls n
ot (I hope) have been left to take a dangerous animal back to the lab without a navy dog handler being contacted.
I like all the characters although I would find a D'Nozzo at work annoying. Really like the actors. :}

A fantastic original story. I truly enjoyed this. I love Abby feeling guilty and taking responsibility for her selfish actions. Bravo!

The doctor has an interesting choice of Name-Tullis. It's not a common name; how'd you come across it? Scottish in origin, from Fifeshire-though there's a cop down in Florida who said there's a bunch in Greece, too. The use of maggots has been around since the Civil War; they didn't have antibiotics in those days. Had a problem with the non-medical form of them; gross. Had to use hydrogen prieoxcide and sterile water to flush them out.
