Goodness this story is so sad yet so beautiful. I was listening to the version of killing me softly by Perry Como when I remembered this fic and I just had to come read it again.

This fic makes me happy on a lot of levels :D

I said it before but I'll say it again: You're a great writer every emotion your stories have can be felt as if their were your own. Not many are able to accomplish such a ability.

This is one of my favorite Jazz/Prowl stories. It really drew me in the first time I read it, and I've read it many times since.
I've wondered, though, there are so many stories where Prowl falls apart when Jazz is hurt/killed/missing. How would Jazz react if it were the other way around?

Oh this was such a sad story... I'm very glad I didn't bawl while reading this one. Glad it had a happy ending, too.

A song that was once a sad reminder to them all, now wonderfully renewed in the fact our favorite Special Ops mech had finally returned home.

I'm at a loss for words at how beautifully written this is. Their grief, their loneliness, their love, their happiness . . . so tangible as well as magical as their hope of better days forthcoming.

You know, this fic was an awesome thing to find just as I started listening to "I'm Coming Home", just Skylar Grey's part. You should looking it up. Makes this story a whole mess more depressing/touching.
