And getting the radioactive elements would likewise have been a tale worthy of a Tom Clancy novel, such as in "The Sum of All Fears"!

Not much of a story, but a fair use I guess. Thing is, if you're going that way, why spend a year creating your own nuke in the form of a kid's stuffed toy when the government you're coordinating the evacuation with could supply a small tactical nuke "off the shelf" in a couple of days easy? The odds of V being home would have been much better early as he/it was recuperating from the resurrection ritual. After a year he/it should have already relocated to Malfoy Manor, in a much more populous area. :(
