Ah, looks like you didn't write any of the HP/YYH sequel you mentioned and only one of the oneshots, about Shinta's past. And it sounds like you had different plans for his meeting with Hiko than the slavers, bandits, and three young woman of canon. I guess you lost interest in that story too. :(

Bit of Fridge Logic, Kurama assumed Shinta's mother had been trying to dump him outside the village. But then why'd she be out there freezing to death with him, she'd have just left. She wasn't trying to leave him, she was trying to get out with him. As for why she choose to run in the middle of winter...I suppose his father died, and without him to protect his small family...

went back and reread this. I think I am getting a lot more of it now than I did then, & I am thoroughly enjoying it. :-) I'm guessing you're not going to be writing anymore because this more or less brings everything in the full circle.

its was good indeed. It does make me wonder though, did his father ever actually find him before he ended up dying in the series? I'm guessing no. Sorry, it's been a long time since I've read this... I just remember I really liked it, & I really like how you tie the two together.

Ugh... I had forgotten how awful the accidental kidnapping had been when I was reading it from Kurama's point of view, but this is horrible too... Wonderfully written, but so sad, and absurd in the sense that it was a mistake on Reikai part. Still, this chapter was great, as were all the others.

This story was great! I love the way you portrayed Kurama and his emotions. I only wish you hadn't skipped over so much with a time skip, though the skip was well written.
