I loved this fanfic! It was so perfect and adorable! I hope you do more Doc and Marty fluff stories like this one!

This is so cute! I just rewatched the trilogy for the first time in about ten years, and now I’m hooked again, lol. I’ve probably read most of the BttF fics on this site.

I love that you don't ship them bea use honestly it's really creepy when people do. Even if they age Marty up to 18, doc is like 60, it's still freaky. I honestly think that Marty hung out with doc because he hated his home life and saw himself as a social outcast making him much like hero he in many ways, he probably saw Doc as a father figure. I bet if George had the chance he would have befriended doc as well.

...I also have to add, I'm glad you didn't turn this into romance - sure I do read quite a lot of slash, but I just can't see or read it with Doc and Marty. Not only do I see them as primarily a family-like bond, I actually think the romance angle takes something away from it the magic in their movie dynamic. The idea that a 17-year- old and a 64-year-old can have a meeting of the minds - and nothing but that, ahem - and that that is enough to keep them hanging out together, without any other "benefits" but each others' company... sometimes, that seems like just as "revolutionary" (for lack of a better word) of an idea as that two persons of the same sex could fall in love.

I just have to say, I totally agree with you 100 percent about everything you said about the movies - the sequels in particular, they really do feel like movies that were made because the creators thought it was FUN, not just to cash in on the first one ) And Marty's and Doc's friendship is indeed pretty darn amazing, their chemistry just goes so well with the rest of the movies - it's got that simple, straightforward and fun sense of excitement to it, that feeling like when you're a kid and get to hang out with an older relative that is your idol, one that thinks you're a great kid, too D

...Uhm, sorry, I WAS gonna comment on he fic, too, but everything you said just described my own thoughts, I got carried along D

The fic is ADORABLE - maybe bordering on a bit sappy at times, but nothing that really throws me off. I really wanted a super-fluffy friendship fic, so this one was exactly what I wanted. It's pretty well written, too, a typo here and there but nothing major. The dialogue sounds natural, and I think you've captured their interaction and "voices" well :)

I'd like to express how much I enjoyed this piece by you. Doc and Marty are one of my favorite friendships. Granted, the age difference is a gap, but I don't think it matters. Like you said, when you see the movies, it's just something you can't help but fall in love with. I'm so glad that you keep their friendship as it is - a strong, family-like friendship. I'm not interested at all in a slash pairing. I would also like to comment on how well in-character you kept them. I honestly 'awwed' at points and couldn't help but smile as well. I think you did a fantastic job, given some minor grammar errors, but overall, absolutely fantastic! c:
