| LittleRed89 chapter 1 . 1/28/2013 Great oneshot! I laughed so hard when I was reading the part about the lady on the tube glaring at Alex because something similar had happened to me. I was using a walking stick because of a long term leg injury and I happened to take the last open seat on the tube. This one lady kind of glared at me then started talking to her friend about how "inconsiderate" the younger generation was and how "kids these days have me respect for their elders". I finally stood up (with difficulty) and offered her my seat. The look on her face was priceless when she saw my walking stick. She refused the offer but I stayed standing for the rest of the ride. It was super funny and reading something similar in your story had me laughing out loud on the bus. I miss Starting Anew and was super happy when I checked my email and saw this. I hope you write more or start a new story. I would definitely read it! Thanks for writing! |
