Aw! I remember reading this before I had an account . . . good days, good times . . .
Well, now I have got an account I can review and favourite (oh, God, stupid red squiggly line just popped up underneath "favourite". It's not MY fault I use the British spelling because I am, err, BRITISH. Ergh!) this bee-yuuu-tee-full gem of a piece! Nobody's reading this review I'm sure but I've posted it anyway...

Okay, alright. This is just the best dedication I've ever received so whatever. I'm cool, I'm calm, I'm cool. No, those are not tears glistening in my eyes. That's not snot I'm sniffling back.

And oh yay! There's fic to be reread!

Holy crap, I don't know where to start. Austin's painfully disdainful and utterly jealous voice had me in stitches the entire time. Maybe it's because we love Austin so much or maybe it's because you wrote it so well, but the entire thing came off as hilarious and fun instead of obsessive and creepy. (Psst, it's the second one because you're an amazing writer.)

But Devin. Oh, poor, mentally deficient Devin-or should I say dim-witted baboon?-and his complete lack of game had me laughing and snorting and laughing again. AND THEN AUSTIN CALLED HIM AN ASS-RAG. I'm doodling that down in my journal to use until the END OF TIME.

I really loved the repetition you used for the movie theatre bit. And how you interrupted the third line with a quote from a movie viewer and then the whole you've got to be f**cking kidding him. I liked the supposed flow of Austin's reasoning only to be cruelly cut short but some unexpected douchebag. And then his Oscar-worthy performance with the hacking cough. And praising the lord and his miraculous ways. That quote killed me, by the way. DID HE KISS THE GROUND AS WELL? JESUS, AUSTIN, YOU'RE SUCH A FREAKIN' DRAMA QUEEN.

"She rolled her eyes in disdain. "Kid? Austin, he looks older than you."

His eyes fixated in jealously. "So you're into older men."

"Stop twisting my words around.""

Austin and Ally didn't really interact all that much (which I think worked for this fic and Austin's voice was so fantastic that I didn't even notice their lack of interaction), but that was my favorite bit. Just Austin's absurd selective hearing and Ally's casual brush off and I dunno. I just giggle-snorted way too hard at that.

Argh, this was such a cute little piece, Karen, and I adored it from beginning to end. It honestly made me laugh out loud on more than one occasional and I still smile despite my umpteenth reread. I'm so, so sorry for taking this long to review and favorite but thanks so much for this absolutely delightful birthday gift.

Oh, gosh. I loved this so much! All of Austin's commentary about the other guys made me laugh. Haha, the poor guy's got it bad.

I actually thought Austin was going to pull Ally over during the movie and kiss her so the other guy would get the message. And then Rick would just sit there with a sour expression on his face as they made out next to him... Okay, now I'm letting my mind run away with this story. Sorry! It's just that good!

There's just something so gratifying about a jealous Austin, isn't there?

OMG seeing how far Austin will go and his thoughts about the "pathetic" boys who dare to flirt and put the moves on Ally made me LOL so hard, it was too hilarious and entertaining. Glad Austin finally admitted he loved Ally as more then a friend and got the girl, now he actually has a validate reason to chase boys away from his Ally
