Loved it!
Ihamtmus chapter 19 . 4/16/2015
So... Firstly, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH for writing this. This... it's so incredibly amazing. What can I say... I love it. I totally love it. WONDERFUL. This is honestly one of the best fics I've EVER read and I enjoyed reading it so so so much. I fell in love with Les Amis de l'ABC lately. And I found your story. And I'm so glad I did! It was perfect, really!
GIVE MY THANKS TO YOUR COUSIN! She did a wonderful job, too! Tell her I LOVED it. :D (And I love her name, Brianna. It reminds me about the Dustfinger's daughter, who had the same name... Never mind :P). I think you are so very lucky to have a cousin with whom you can write – that means you are close to each other. I have a cousin who is actually one of my best friends and I think that maybe one day we will write something together. We are so similar and have really similar tastes. Oh, back to your story. I am sooooooooooooooo glad this is not slash! (Personally, it makes me sick). It is so strangely popular here to write slash and I appreciate that you wrote them so beautifully as friends! I admit that I was a bit puzzled because of this hand-holding and hair-stroking, or head-kissing. But you managed to write it all so purely and innocently that I'm really amazed. I think you were really brave to write about these things. I think I would be afraid people would misunderstood. But, these things are so NORMAL amongst friends. It's sad that many people could see only a romance in such a simple, pure, innocent thing as a holding of a hand. Thank you for writing so beautifully about these signs of care and love between friends.
You made me love Combeferre much more than I did! Thanks! He is so incredible, I loved the chapters where he appeared the most. :) I love that you wrote him as an older brother for Enjolras! Their friendship is brilliant. :) Oh, I just love all the Amis so much!
Your story was just what I needed, you know? I used any moment I could to read it and I finished it yesterday and oh... I wish there was more! Much more!
If only I had found this story earlier, while you were writing it... I would comment on every chapter with details! Now, I fear, I will have to write only generally. (I'm happy there were many people who revewed, though! It makes me feel better to know that you got a proper feedback while you needed it :)).
This is the moment to thank lemondropseverus. It was such a right thing to do to encourage you to write another chapters! Don't get me wrong, the first chapter would make a great one-shot (it got me interested from the first line :P), but the whole story is a masterpiece. I underlined some lines that touched me most while reading (I print the stuff I want to read, I hate reading on the computer), but I won't write here which ones, my review would become waaaay to long. ;)
The whole story was really beautifully-written! I love your writing style (I will DEFINITELY read more of your stories). I love how tenderly you write.
I loved the visit of each Ami, but I think I liked Jehan's the most. He's so sweet and lovable! All of them are.
I liked that Enjolras passed off... It may sound somehow strange that I liked that something bad happened to him, but I was almost relieved. It was because before it happened I had felt that Combeferre had been WAY too protective and I could totally understand that Julien was irritated because of that. But I understood when you showed us how serious his illness really was.
I found it, well, a bit strange that Enjolras admitted to being afraid of rude doctors and that he prefered when the doctor was being kind and smiling. Do you think he would do that? Oh, well, maybe you're right. After all, he admitted it to his friends, to people he trusted. It's nice to know he is so human, so normal, so... young. I loved how you wrote him, so never mind about these doctors. ;) But this and that overprotectiveness from Combeferre at the beginning were one of the VERY few things that I felt that didn't suit a little. (I understand that Combeferre was concerned, but he could have hidden it a little better ;)). If I wanted to enumerate all the things I enjoyed, it would, again, take way too much place (Oh, dear. I've already written quite a long review... And that's not the end! I really hope you don't mind... I just love your fic and want to express it to you somehow...).
I loved that Enjolras had managed to say “I don't hate him” just before he passed off. Just.. oh. :)
I am surely going to read it one more time. And after I do so, once again. But only after I read some of your other stories. :)
I am from Poland (by the way, sorry for mistakes! I hope you were able to understand everything despite them) and I am thinking of becoming an English translator in the future... These are just casual thoughts, but I would like to try and translate it into Polish for my cousin (she doesn't know English very well..). If you don't mind? She agreed to watch the newest Les Mis movie with me next time we meet and I'm sure she will love it. And if she do, I will translate this story for her, okay? If it won't be a total flop, maybe I would send the translation to you so you could post it on your profile if you wanted. Maybe... What do you think?
Oh and I have to add: I LOVED YOUR DISCLAIMERS! :D They were a real fun! :)
I just want to ask... Would you consider writing a sequel for it? Please? If you do, I will be the greatest fan! :) (Yes, please, please, do it!).
SORRY for this babble. Just... know I loved it. Take care and have a wonderful day, Rosey! I really hope you will play Cosette one day.
I think that's it. Hopefully, I didn't forget to say anything I wanted. But you got the general message: I LOVED IT. :)
Stay revolutionary AND smiling!

Sayuriameyo chapter 19 . 3/25/2015
A very lovely story! I really enjoyed this wonderful writing of yours, I almost read it in one go.
Ah bless the Amis for taking care of their leader with such devotion. These boys' hearts are truly made of gold.
Also, that part about Marius was very smooth, we all know what happened after that haha.
Keep up the great work! :)
Sarahbob chapter 19 . 4/30/2014

Yes, it is still awesome!
hoogan chapter 19 . 2/2/2014
Have SO enjoyed reading this over the past few days. Their non-slash affection for eachother is lovely. Thanks and...how'd you know Grantaire was the chapter I was waiting for? LOL

MASH4077th chapter 19 . 11/26/2013
I suppose I'm a bit of a late-comer, but this is really fantastic. I love reading medical sort of stories, and this completely fit the bill! I adored how you wrote all the characters, but particularly Combeferre, Jehan, and Grantaire. Their reactions to Enjolras' maladies were so incredibly believable. You certainly know these characters very well. Thank you so much for sharing your art, and definitely keep writing!
DeathDaisy chapter 19 . 10/7/2013

FourthRemnant chapter 19 . 9/25/2013
I have absolutely no idea how you did it. There's just something about this small tale in a big world that tugs at my heart. Your characterisation was beautiful, at times I found myself grinning at someone else's happiness or about to weep for the love the Les Amis have for each other. That you added such a human flaw to such an idealised character, I found it to be almost poetic. In the many fanfics I've read, Enjolras is perfect. Neither illness nor flaw blemishes his persona, but in the end you've managed to show that he is human. He's just as human and flawed as Grantaire or Bossuet, and I thought it beautiful. Your research into the medical procedures of the 19th century added an extra layer of depth to the story.
Thank you. Thank you so much for this beautiful piece.

You are a beautiful writer, did you know that? The feels I get when reading your work are extraordinary. Thanks for sharing. Until next time :)
CrazyChick chapter 19 . 7/30/2013
This is an incredible story. Everyone was in character, and I absolutely loved Jehan! The end when Enjolras said "so long as he's not a Monarchist or Bonapartist" made me laugh. A very good job!
Marcellebelle chapter 19 . 7/24/2013
