You are amazing... This story was sooooo good and perfect and I love the fluff, the angst, the mystery, the plot and everyone's characterizations. Like, I can't even imagine how you ever wrote this in a single day and made it this good.

I seriously love the name you gave amnesic Luffy. Meris actually fits him so well and I love seeing him with his group of friends as they go through school. And naming the owl Toenail was so very Luffy. Ace's devastation at losing both brothers and his resolve to gain the bounties and names they deserved completely wrecked my heart. Just, wow!

Wish that Luffy and James could have worked things out in some way. That was really sad. :( And in the end, Luffy lost all three of the people he thought of as his brothers. I can't begin to imagine...

You should definitely make a sequel to this about Harry and Luffy writing back and forth and them getting to meet at some point. Would Luffy have Harry call him by Luffy or would he let him call him Uncle Meris? I kinda want him to let Harry use the name he once had in that other world. Just to acknowledge the fact that he's not just Luffy, but also in a way Meris as well.

I feel horrible for Ace. I feel like my heart has been ripped out and cut open. I could care less about James, really. Its Ace that my heart is breaking for! Why couldn't you show them meeting?! Good story all around though. :)
