Guest chapter 90 . 9/4
For supposedly the most power faeire, Sookie we super lame in this chapter. Damsel in distress. How embarssimg.
Guest chapter 63 . 9/4
I'm disgusted that Sookie let those vampire suck that fae dry, regardless if he was a traitor or not.

Wonderful story. Thank you for sharing if anybody is contemplating not reading this because of the length, I can assure you it will be a good investment of your time.

I hate that as an author you feel you have to justify yourself to readers who don’t agree with your story. You are the author you are the creator the story originates in your head. The characters may not but their actions are your own. It seems like your AN this time was as long as a whole chapter.

I think you’re doing a great job I’m enjoying the story, admittedly in the beginning I was a little worried because I was thinking I don’t want to read it angsty story and I kept thinking that I was going to just walk away but I didn’t because I trust the writing I trust the offer I’m in it to see what happens. I have an advantage because the story is complete now and I’m not having to wait for the chapters to get posted and having more time then I know what to with between postings.

Again I know the story is complete, however you do you, this is your vision, this is your idea, this is your story, write it how you want to run with it and don’t let people stop you or make you second-guess what you are doing. And as you mentioned earlier if they don’t like it they can KICK ROCKS!
Guest chapter 6 . 5/24
Tissues! We need tissues over here!
Someone pass the fucking tissues, I said!
Emmeline chapter 20 . 1/19
l loved that your story had a realistic portrayal of an arranged marriage between a fairy and a vampire that has been done solely for political reasons. At least in the beginning of the story you didn't put Eric on the pedestal and wanted your readers to understand that their marriage has not been a happy one, and Sookie has suffered greatly because of Eric.

My critic is that it seems that here their entire relationship is just build on a series of miscommunication that apparently has countinued several decades. In my opinion it just makes them look a bit immature and childlish. I know that misunderstandings are popular way to create tension between the characters. But it's really hard to believe that after being married for so long, someone like Sookie, who in this story is a fairy princess and is equal to Eric in every way possible, has not even once got upset and told Eric that she is unhappy and that there is something wrong with their relationship?

Also, it has been said that their marriage is ruined because Fintan told Eric before their marriage that Sookie can control the bond. Since it is such a big part of their life, why hasn't Eric ever asked about it directly from Sookie? It only lead him down a path of constant misunderstandings, betrayals, and general emo bullshit, which never gets any better because Eric apparently has no ability to communicate with other characters without being frustrated, childlish, angry or having an extreamely short temper for someone who is over 1000 years old.

As supernatural beings both Sookie and Eric probably have a more thorough awareness of consequence, forethought, and subtlety than any living being on the planet. I just don't think they'd be so clueless about what they want from their marriage instead of being more confident with each other. Some married couples will always act the way they do to each other or some may subtly change, but overall, once they get pass that first few months of uncertainty, they cannot go back to acting as if they don't know each other at all.

I liked your story idea, but in the end, just like basically every other Sookie/Eric author, you seem to justify Eric's actions far too much, and give him consequences for nothing real. That's very poorly done. And based off of the glimpses I have given the later chapters, Sookie seems to have some serious character regression in the later chapters just so that they will stay together. That is poorly developed. While I do enjoy reading the story, I so hope you won't go down to make Sookie/Eric a happy ending here.

WooHoo! Go Pam & Selene!
GlassMazeGazer chapter 77 . 11/9/2019
I’m confused again. Why are E&S driving around all on their own with no guards now? Why would they be so careless as to get lost in having sex in a car in a parking lot while they have no security with them to watch their backs? All of their enemies are still running lose & aiming for them. (Yup — I get the whole jealousy/claiming thing, but I’m just not following the reasoning for going from hyper-level security to no security AND then letting themselves act carelessly & get distracted while being sitting ducks.)

Maybe I get it if I was more than just a human, eh?

RE: Author’s Note — How odd for folks to complain about a story being too long. You continued to move the plot along & provide interest which is the basic point of story telling. The only stories I find to be too long are those that begin to ramble & lose direction, as if the writer can’t figure out how to end. When I come across those I just quit reading them. I don’t understand why some folks seem to live to harass other people who have the guts to put themselves out in public with their creative writing efforts. Good for you in not letting the Negative Nellies bully you into not following your own path with this!
GlassMazeGazer chapter 71 . 11/9/2019
I’m confused! Why would E&S choose to stand outside of the restaurant to wait for their car after just narrowly escaping an attack by an archer? Also, the guards were supposed to have checked & cleared the area so how did the newly ramped up group of elite vampire, fae, & were guards overlook the careless Freyda & young twit Bill lurking in the shadows?
GlassMazeGazer chapter 32 . 11/4/2019
I find this version of Sookie to be the least likable Sookie I’ve read so far. She’s so selfish & self-centered even CH couldn’t write a less appealing version. Just ICK, EEEEWWE, & BLECH!
GlassMazeGazer chapter 26 . 11/4/2019
Definitely need to find that Sookie stake I have around here somewhere & carve her name on it so she knows it’s no accident when I hit my target! I‘ll be aiming for her flip-flopping, bitchy, hurtful heart! It’s fine to have disagreements, but she’s just plain mean and seems to make a steady habit of running hot & cold. No one could keep up & accommodate her mood swings even if she came with an instruction manual.

RE: the A/N reply regarding Eric giving or not giving permission for Quinn (or anyone else) to address his wife more familiarly or make physical contact — I believe this idea of sexism I see brought up so often is a misconception of him. In the original SVM book series (& some FF) Sookie also acts as if it’s about sexism.

Eric is clearly not sexist. As a maker, he chose females for children & Sookie isn’t a meek, submissive type. The “ism” is vampires over human. It only looks like sexism because Eric is male & Sookie is female, but if the vampire in question was a female, she would be in the position of granting the same permissions regarding ‘her human’ whether the human was male or female. Also if Eric’s human happened to be male, it would still be the vampire’s prerogative to make those concessions. At least that’s how it appears to me Canon-wise from the books and Cannon-ish-wise from a lot of FF works.
GlassMazeGazer chapter 22 . 11/3/2019
Maybe she’s bi-polar? At any rate, I’m pretty sure there’s medication to help with her erratic personality extremes. Not sure there are meds to help with so much stupidity that, after being a supe herself AND the wife of a vampire FOR YEARS, she still hasn’t grasped the rule against touching & allowing others who aren’t her husband to touch her.
GlassMazeGazer chapter 19 . 11/3/2019
SOOKIE: “Don’t confuse me with facts! Eric shouldn’t have believed Grandfather even with all the supporting evidence he presented! He should have believed ME! Never mind that even now I’m still lying and withholding the truth! He should believe me anyway!”

Agh! I can’t stand her anymore! Now where did I put that stake?!
