Hahaha, this is pretty much exactly what I thought Hadrian would do when I read about the rose in the actual story. Publicly destroying it gets the point across without confronting the "secret" courter.

Personally, I love the current chapter in the fic a lot better than this one. It's a subtle, more devious insult that challenges Tom a lot more than this. Fits Hadrian to T.

This was so much better! I mean I love that Hadrian has the upper hand. Although I understand being manipulative is an inherent part of Tom's character but I don't wish to see Hadrian underestimated. I also enjoyed the part where Hadrian lit the rose on fire. Tom's reaction was wicked! Can't wait to read more of your 'Hadrian Salazar Peverell' story :)
