I will never be able to do justice in a review to what this story has done to me. Just like the name of the last chapter: emotions. Well mine have been pulled and contorted so much in every way from this story. My heart is broken for what Pony continued to go through and his brothers too. From start to finish I could not put this story down. I wished I could have jumped into the story and save Pony over and over. I thought the punch and whipping was bad but then the gun incident too- how could've Pony not have been scared in every way.
You write so exceptionally I was drawn right into the story like I was living every emotion the three boys suffered. You deserve a much better review than this. I can only try and let you know how you have moved me forever with this story. Thank you. :-) xoxo

I read a lot of fanfictions with this topic, mostly because it's very prominent in the Ponyboy centric genre, but by the first chapter alone I think I can say it's one of the best

So I first read this about six months ago maybe, and i haven't been able to forget about it since. I've been reading outsiders fan fiction for probably over 10 years now, and I swear this is the best one I've ever read in all that time and my absolute favorite. I hadn't read an outsiders fan fiction for a good few months (I usually stick to Harry potter fics, but every once in awhile get the urge to read something different), so when I felt like a change again a few days ago I sought out to find something good that I hadn't read before. Unfortunately I didn't really find anything new or good that I haven't already read in this fandom, so instead I decided to re-read the story that captured my attention so many months ago.

Even though I already read this once before, and ultimately knew what was happening next in every chapter, I still couldn't put it down this time. I love love love your writing, everything feels realistic and in character and oh my gosh the feels you made me feel while reading this! My heart just about broke when Mr. Miller (I think that's his name?) died, and every time pony boy hurt, my heart just hurt for him.

Anyway, Im pretty I left a review the first time I read this (at least I hope I did!) but I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this the second time around. I enjoyed it so much, I could probably read it 3-4 more times and not even get tired of it. I wish there more stories and talented authors like you in this fandom! (And Im kind of wishing you are still writing in this fandom as well..)

I think whats also really good about this story is that you were able to write all your OCs really well. There are so many new characters but they dont all suck the way they do in some fanfictions.

This story is sooooooo good. I wish You wrote ones where Johnny is alive though. I bet you would write him well. And I wish Pony had got his book back from Tim. But I guess it wouldnt make Johnny come back anyway.

I think Soda is totally IC! And this was such a good chapter. With him getting sick, tim being included, tim being so calm but also aloof, him having a breakdown. Its wild I feel like I am watching a really intense tv show or movie! Your writing is soooo good. Sometimes stories have too much dialouge and no inner thoughts. But yours is perfect!

I love the character development of Steve. You are an amazing writer. I never really cared for Steve but that was a very realistic way of Steve showing he does care for Pony in a sense. I mean I know he comes to visit with the others and obviously likes him somewhat but that was a really touching scene.

OMG THAT WAS SOOOO GOODDDD. I love how he sees Dally in Aidan. I love his reflections on everyone dying around him. The story is sooo good. I am staying up all night to read it! It really is a long road!
