i feel your pain for your parents. even if they have lived, it's such an emotional journey to experience...

it's been a bit since you last updated, but i want to say i truly love your story. it's probably the only fic that was more realistic about how draco wouldn't really go all buddy buddy with potter immediately. neville and draco are the ultimate duo i didn't realize could exist. the message you tell us through their friendship touch me. neville really is the character to be the true friend a person may be missing on their life.

draco is in such a conflicting state of crisis throughout the whole story. he was destined for slytherin but put in gryffindor, and he's reflecting on things and questioning the system because of his shock. it's realistic, and more importantly, it humanizes draco in a way the books never could that well.

I also want to tell you that this Fanfiction is a masterpiece and that it is a pity it never was continued. I enjoyed every second of it.

This is by far one of the best Draco Malfoy fics I have EVER read... I know it’s been like two years since you updated and that your life got really complicated, but I still hope you see this review. I can’t help but think you kept writing this story even without updating it, because you said you would never abandon it. So PLEASE, for my sake and for every other person who has read this story and absolutely loved it, UPDATE as soon as you can if you see this! Or at least make an author’s note to explain if you’re not ever going to finish it the suspense is killing me! But anyway I love the story, the character development is incredible, and the added plot fits in perfectly with Rowling’s original book. I’m heartbroken it’s not finished tho you even got sooooo close to finishing first year... anyway keep up the good work you’re super talented :)

P.S. if anyone sees this review and knows of other fics like this (like where Draco is sorted into Gryffindor or something like that) please let me know so I can check them out!

Yeah, that makes sense Snape would see why Draco put his wand on Zabini for calling Hermione a "mudblood", I mean, any hardcore Snape fan would see why: He accidentally blurted that slur out in front of Lily Evans, he was was so ashamed at himself for that, thus why Snape doesn't want anyone to say it when he's around.
