So I noticed Here Be Dragons isn't on your profile. Did it get deleted, or did you deliberately take it down?

I know you mentioned a review as a belated birthday gift, so is four years belated enough? The story I like. I really like this spin on Astrid vs. the movie which was that cold calculating kinda bitchy one. This at least has her open to the movie's development of her character and I just like the story! Plus the tidbits you put at the end are actually really cool. Alright, probably won't see this but, hey. A mans gotta try.

I like the start of this story. I never really chose to interpret Hiccup's "it's not like the last few times!" comment to mean he had 'cried wolf' in the past, more that he had tried to kill the night fury and failed spectacularly. However, this got me thinking about the other scenario. While not something I believe, it would be totally ironic if he had actually killed like 3 other night furies in previous attempts and failed to find them because they fell into the ocean, or something, with Toothless being the first to fall on land. I would hate that, but I feel like it would make a funny one-shot just for the irony (not a request, just thinking 'out-loud').

I just want to point out that there is such a thing as a line break. You don't have to butcher immersion by adding a pointlessly sarcastic A/N in allcaps.

Great chapter! It actually feels like I'm inside their heads and it feels amazing whenever an author manages to pull that off.

Please write more of these stories, they are like the filler scenes that the movie skipped along with the feel that character development and perception is pretty accurate. I really don't have anything more to say, as I don't know anything about writing stuff, but I can get into the author's head to get a feel of what they wanna convey.

I really like it every time you go off spouting anthropology. I actually learn something when you do. I get to see how medieval people thought and it's SUPER DUPER INTERESTING!

Hooters this is good! And it's lovely to see you're an anthropology buff. It's such a fun study - and so closely linked to sociology and archeology.

I hope you update soon - this is one of the best written versions of 'Astrid's Point of View' I've read so far!
