I love love LOVE this story so far!
But I am SO confused - in the last chapter Ash was described as having black hair and blue eyes, and now they're green and her hair auburn. I'm not sure whether i missed something..?

I just noticed that her alias is Davenport which if I remember well is the name of the actor playing norrington

Splendid, impressively well written introductory chapter. The writing style, dialogue, and visuals of the scenes were marvelous.

Honestly kinda getting sick of Ashlynne faking her death and changing her identity you can only do it so many times before it gets boon and unrealistic.

You've changed her name it used to be devonport till this point.

What does "ken" mean?

This is good and everything but the dialect of the characters is really hard to understand.

Just keep an eye on your characters, Miss Devonshire became Miss Davenport and Barbossa suddenly became Barbarossa in this chapter.

Awww, finally! :D (I actually expected Jackie at the end with his "Drinks all around!" and maybe "I rooted for ye, mate!". Oh well. At least I was right and they were caught after the deed in last chapter. Thanks kraken, not until after the deed!)
And some cap'n can still marry our heroes in their rightful names :3

Some chapters back, when Ash came after the list, I loved the scene with the pistol - reminiscing of the scene with Elizabeth and Beckett. :D

About more screentime - I actually wondered, what would have happened if Ash stayed on Black Pearl for the journey after tthe chest. I'd like to see the interactions of everyone around :D (it would be a tense atmosphere!) More Tortuga interactions! (More Scruffington!)

Altogether, it was a great story and journey. I loved character development. But I still maintain that Jamie and Ash can't be over fourty, lol))

Erm, I feel obligated to point out that Groves told about Ash's reasons before. I think James can forget that, at first, it was a shock after all!
from chap.10: "...Groves hesitated a moment before he stepped up to the rail beside James and looked out over the water, "Before she rendered me unconscious sir she attempted to explain herself."
"Why did you not explain this before?""...
But then he shouldn't reprimand Teddy here! :D
