Wow. That was beautiful. I've been a Stargate fan for a long, long time, and that has to be one of the best fanfics I've read. You truly captured the nuances of the show, of the characters' relationships, and especially of the Daniel and Jack dynamic. Lovely.

Good ending! But might recommend laying of the "for crying out loud" and "dammit Daniel" responses for future fics, they've become way too cliched in defining Jack's character.

Very interesting story and characters, can see Jack doing it for Daniel and understand Daniel's vulnerability. Certainly shows how those think and how they became friends and would become strong workmates trusting each other. Thanks for sharing.
